Today was a speed workout day - done with my bright green speed shoes! I had some matching green socks as well...so even if the workout didn't go very well, at least I did it while looking like an obnoxious runner.
Here is what I did today...increased my speed from last weeks workouts from 9 mph to 10 mph.
1 mile @ 8:00
2 minutes easy
3 minutes @ 10 mph
3 minutes easy
3 minutes @ 10 mph
3 minutes easy
2 minutes @ 10 mph
3 minutes easy
2 minutes @ 10 mph
2 minutes easy
2 miles @ 7:45
Ran for a total time of 52:31 and a distance of 6.01 miles.
It was difficult, but felt pretty good when done...and I love my shoes!
